CALEDONIA -- Several pets seized from a Racine County shelter in May are finally up for adoption. 80 dogs, 12 cats, and two pigs were found living in sub-standard conditions at Orphan Kanines Shelter in Caledonia.

The Wisconsin Humane Society is putting up 62 dogs and eight cats up for adoption. The process operates on a first come, first served basis. counselors will also work one on one with potential adopters to explain each animals needs.

The remaining animals will be up for adoption as they are medically cleared.
