OCONOMOWOC-It's simply amazing. For the second year in a row, the winner of the "Amazing Race" tv show has Wisconsin ties.

Josh Kilmer-Purcell, who was raised in Oconomowoc, and his partner, Brent Ridge won the $1 million prize on CBS 58 Sunday night.

The competition reality show features teams of two that travel around the world completing various tasks.

Kilmer-Purcell and Ridge never won any individual competitions, just the final and the big one.

They say it should serve as a message for underdogs to never give up.

Last year's winner was a military veteran and his wife from Madison.
