Accused wrong-way driver bound over for trial
MILWAUKEE -- The 23-year-old accused of driving the wrong way on I-94 and critically injuring an off-duty Milwaukee Police officer, has been bound over trial.
Erin Salmon plead not guilty Tuesday. She was still on crutches from her own injuries in the wreck. Investigators say Salmon was driving drunk without her headlights on when she hit Officer Joshua Albert. Prosecutors added a third felony charge relating to her blood alcohol level when she crashed in the interstate last month. She's also charged with hitting two parked cars before getting on the highway. |
