Mother accused of abandoning baby found

MILWAUKEE- Milwaukee Police have located the mother of a little boy that was left with a neighbor.

After not being able to locate anyone who knew how to find the mother, police turned to the community for help.

After viewing a newscast that broadcast a photo of the boy, concerned family members found the mother and took her to a police station around 11:00 p.m. Friday.

The 25-year-old woman is in custody and at last word was awaiting an interview by investigators.

Police are not able to release any other information about the case at this time.
