A woman is saved after falling into the Milwaukee River

Milwaukee -- A woman was unresponsive after being pulled from the Milwaukee River.

She was walking near State Street and Old World Third Street around 6:30pm when she fell in.

Originally, rescue crews received a call that a child was in the water. After doing a full scan of the area crews are confident that the woman was the only person to fall in.

CPR was performed on the woman and she regained consciousness. No word on her current condition.
