RACINE - A 9 year old boy was among 11 citizens to be recognized by the Racine Police Department for outstanding deeds in 2012. Tanner Otwaska helped officers catch an armed robbery suspect. Tanner was playing with a friend when he spotted a man running through yards. Tanner immediately became suspicious. Police say the suspect had recently held up a Family Dollar store and was running from officers.  Police lost the suspect, but came across Tanner and asked him if he had seen anything. Tanner pointed out where the man was. The suspect was quickly taken into custody. Tanner received a plaque for his help from the Racine Police Department.
