New Technology to Reduce Wrong Way Drivers

MILWAUKEE---Sheriff's department, WDOT, and a traffic and parking control company are unveiling a new technology on several on-ramps to reduce wrong way driving.

There have been three wrong way driving accidents in just two weeks and 29 wrong way drivers in Milwaukee County just this year.

This new state of the art techonology will be installed at several on-ramps. TAPCO's won awards for special warning signs that include flashing LED lights like you see on your traffic billboards and alerts to deputies.
