Defense ask for new trial for James Arthur Ray

ARIZONA -- The man convicted in the sweat lodge death of a Milwaukee man is getting a new trial.

The defense attorney for James Arthur Ray says the prosecution made several mistakes, and that made for an unfair trial.

Ray was convicted of three counts of negligent homicide for the fatal sweat lodge ceremony that killed 40-year-old James Shore of Milwaukee and two others.

The prosecution says any errors were unintentional and they had no impact on the jury's verdict.
