Easter Seals sends care packages to troops overseas

WAUKESHA --- Service men and women overseas will get some extra joy for the holidays thanks to Easter Seals.

Folks at the non-profit's Waukesha Workforce Training Center have teamed up with Cooper Power Systems to put together care packages for Wisconsin soldiers in Afghanistan.

Monday, the group packed 65 boxes.

The teams will be putting packages together again Tuesday and they should arrive to the troops by the holidays.

Easter Seals is still looking for help in paying for shipping costs.
