MILWAUKEE -- Green Bay Packer Jarrett Bush stopped by the CBS 58 studios Tuesday to make an announcement with the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center.

He will be helping spread awareness for the non-profit organization that recently bought a new property in Greenfield after it's lease wasn't renewed at Southridge Mall.

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center is launching a Hero campaign, aimed at spotlighting everyday animal heroes. The group is asking people to save a dollar a day for the animal rescue.

Bush says he's a huge animal lover so this was a great match for him. He will also help out with the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center's Spayghetti fundraiser on April 27.
