23-year-old woman accused of stabbing man to death in apartment
MILWAUKEE -- 23-year-old Krista Batchelor is charged with second degree reckless homicide after allegedly stabbing Cornell Williams on December 26th.
Batchelor told police, her and Williams were arguing with knives in their hands. She also claims the victim was in the bathroom with her cell phone and keys.
According to the criminal complaint, Batchelor forced her way into the bathroom and stabbed Williams once in the chest. The medical examiner's office reports the stab wound struck Williams' right lung.
If convicted, Batchelor will face up to 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines.
