Sandy prompts candidates to cancel campaign stops in Wisconsin
WISCONSIN -- Over the last 24 hours, Hurricane Sandy has changed the Presidential campaign drastically.
President Barack Obama canceled his trip to Green Bay Tuesday to stay in Washington D.C. and monitor the storm. Mr. Obama's campaign says he'll temporarily stay off the campaign trail to concentrate on the storm and areas that need federal help. GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney canceled his stop at State Fair Park Monday. He too has called off campaign activity while Sandy is a threat to America's safety. |
