134 marijuana plants seized from Caledonia growing operation

CALEDONIA -- 45-year-old Raymond Gullan was arrested while trying to make a marijuana transaction in Sturtevant. After searching Gullan's home, members of the Racine County Metro Drug Unit found a sophisticated marijuana growing operation consisting of 134 marijuana plants.

Gullan was arrested on June 25th in Caledonia while trying to deliver marijuana in Sturtevant. During that arrest police recovered a quarter pound of marijuana and a loaded handgun from Gullan's car.

Law enforcement executed a search warrant on Gullan's residence in Caledonia. They report finding a sophisticated hydroponics marijuana grow operation consisting of 134 marijuana plants. Deputies also found an assault rifle, three semi-automatic pistols and ammunition.

Charges have been referred to the Racine County District Attorney's Office.
