Young boy injured in hit and run
BROWN DEER---An 11-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle which drove off without stopping.
It happened at 2:36 p.m on Carlotta Lane at Radcliffe Drive. An 11-year-old boy from Brown Deer was walking across Carlotta Lane when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound. After striking the boy, the vehicle continued to travel southbound on Carlotta Lane without stopping. The boy was transported to an area hospital to be evaluated. The boy described the vehicle as a large red vehicle, possibly a truck or a sport utility vehicle. If there was any damage to the vehicle, it would likely be on the front, driver’s side of the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
