MILWAUKEE---Family members from around the country gathered at 16th and Cleveland Thursday night. It was one year ago that 28-year-old J.J. Kohen was fatally stabbed.
With her grandparents standing behind her the victim's daughter, Jalina Kohen, made this plea, "Whoever can find the person who killed my dad, it would be so wonderful."
The little girl fought back tears as family members lit candles and announced a $10,000 reward leading to an arrest and conviction.
"There's still a duty and responsibility among the citizens of Milwaukee to help this family as if it were there own family," Rick Kohen, the victim's father said. "Because this easily could be your family standing here."
Police believe robbery was the motive but they report no leads. Anyone with information should call (414) 935-7360.
