$1 million Powerball ticket sold in West Allis
WEST ALLIS -- Someone is waking up a millionaire Thursday.
Wisconsin Lottery officials say someone bought a Powerball ticket that matched enough numbers to cash out at $1 million dollars. The winning ticket was sold at the Speedway in the 9100 block of W. Oklahoma Ave. Ten other Wisconsin Lottery players hit big jackpots. Nine tickets won $10,000 and one additional $10,000 ticket was turned into a $40,000 winner because of the Power Play multiplier. The winning tickets were sold at the following stations: Freedom Mini Mart, N4012 CTY Rd. E, Appleton Kwik Trip, 2508 Main St., Cross Plains Korneli's Main Street Express, 506 S. Main St., Fond du Lac Myrt's Handi Mart, 626 CTY Rd. E, Grand Marsh Piggly Wiggly, 2215 80th St., Kenosha Janesville Travel Center, 3222 Old Humes Rd., Janesville T & T Fermanich Oil Co., 1011 Marinette Ave., Marinette Citgo, 3434 W. Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee Montello Mart, 128 Church St., Montello East End BP, 2128 E. 2nd St., Superior. Winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. |
