MILWAUKEE --- A car and a motorcycle collided on the city's north side overnight, killing one person and injuring two others.

The Milwaukee Police Department says it happened around 12:10 a.m. Friday at 60th and Carmen.

Lamar Dunson, 42, crashed his motorcycle into a vehicle being driven by a 21-year-old Milwaukee woman and was killed. The 21-year-old driver of the vehicle was transported to Froedtert with injuries.

A 40-year-old man operating a separate motorcycle was also transported to Froedtert with non-life threatening injuries. Police believe Dunson may have been racing with other motorcycles when the accident occurred.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
