Lambeau ready for Packers Thursday night game against Bears

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Lambeau Field is ready for Thursday night’s matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, which will feature each team’s “Color Rush” uniforms.

Each team playing on Thursday Night Football this season is wearing the “Color Rush” uniforms, and the Packers’ uniforms on Thursday will include their regular white road jersey, with white pants to match, as well as white shoes and socks.

The organization also is reminding game attendees that no bags or purses are allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12” by 6” by 12”. Two featured alumni are scheduled to make appearances Thursday; Ezra Johnson and Eddie Lee Ivery will be taking part in fan activities at the Johnsonville Tailgate Village and Legends Club, respectively, leading up to kickoff.

Prior to the national anthem, the Packers and WPS Health Solutions will be recognizing U.S. Coast Guard Commander Mark Graboski and his family through Operation Fan Mail on the field. The national anthem will be performed by country singer Tyler Farr.

The pregame festivities will also honor Elliott G. Zugel from Sheboygan, as the “Shopko Kick-Off Kid.” The 12-year-old is being recognized for her work collecting shoes for Soles4Shoes after she organized and presented a kickoff for a shoe drive, led in counting and boxing the shoes and prepared the shoes for shipment. During halftime, the High School Quarterback Challenge, presented by HPE and Camera Corner, will feature players from Winnebago Lutheran Academy and Mayville High Schools in an on-field competition.

The Green Bay Elite Dance Team will also perform at halftime.

Fans entering the stadium will receive a free compression arm sleeve, courtesy of Coca-Cola.

Also on Thursday, fans can enjoy the Johnsonville Tailgate Village, the permanent tailgating and event structure in Lambeau Field’s east side parking lot. The JTV, along with the Lambeau Field parking lots, will open at 3:25 a.m. for ticketed and non-ticketed guests alike and will feature live music, food, beverages and a festive tailgating atmosphere.

The Lambeau Field Atrium, including 1919 Kitchen & Tap, Packers Hall of Fame and Packers Pro Shop, will be open to ticketed guests only beginning at 1:25 p.m., with exit/re-entry available until 3:25 p.m. Stadium gates will open at 5:25 p.m. Visit http://www.packers.com/gameday/ for more information.
