Knebel named to NL All-Star team

Brewers relief pitcher Corey Knebel has been named to the National League's All-Star team, a first in Knebel's career.

The owner of a 1.13 ERA this season, Knebel has set an all-time record for relief pitchers by notching at least one strikeout in 40 consecutive games.

He's the only Brewers player named to the All-Star squad. The Chicago Cubs, who had seven All-Stars last season, had just one player named to the team Sunday night - Wade Davis, who wasn't even with the Cubs when they won the 2016 World Series.

The All-Star game takes place at Marlins Park in Miami on July 11th.
