Jabari Parker brings "Let's Move!" message to students

Milwaukee-- A visit by the Milwaukee Bucks number one draft choice was nothing less than a slam dunk on Thursday.

\"It was a dream come true for the kids to see Jabari here at Nativity,\" said John Meuler, a teacher at Nativity Jesuit Middle School on Milwaukee's south side.

Jabari Parker made a surprise appearance in support of the \"Let's Move! Active Schools\" program. Parker encouraged students to become involved in activities that strengthen their bodies and brains. \"Exercise your brain. Keep on reading and challenge it.\"

Parker not only spoke to the students, but went one-on-one on the court with 8th grader Carlos Nunez. \"My (dream) if I ever got to see him was to play one of one with him.\"

Before he left, Parker handed out Bucks-themed school supplies to the students.
