Icy Roads Tonight

The major Midwest storm is moving out of the region. But not before leaving a mark! Many spots picked up a solid half inch of rain since the onset just after the midnight hour early Thursday. Take a look at some of the higher totals around:

After a rather quiet start to our Friday, dropping temps led to our last batch of wet weather in the form of scattered snow showers and patchy freezing drizzle. While accumulations were light, temperatures falling below freezing led to icy spots on roads.
At one point the Hoan Bridge was closed due to icy conditions.
Elevated surfaces and bridges, as well as untreated roads could be icy and slick tonight. Roads conditions per Wis DOT show slippery stretches on 41 and 43, especially from Milwaukee and points north. Please use caution if you need to travel overnight.
