Horlick High School Student Choked Classmate in Class Until Student Turned "Purple"

A student at Horlick High School was arrested for choking another student during 8th hour in a classroom on Tuesday.

According to the criminal complaint, the student came up behind the other student and placed his arm around his neck in a choke hold.

At first students thought the two were joking around.

The victim said he tapped on the student’s shoulder, but he did not stop applying pressure.

The victim said his vision began to go blurry and he felt like he could not breathe.

Witnesses said the victim’s face started turning purple.

The student is facing up to six years in prison if convicted for the charges.
