Local author chats about her new thriller, ’Come and Get Me’
(MILWAUKEE) For a century a Milwaukee house of worship has been a pillar in the community. St. Matthew Christian Methodist Episcopal Church on N. 9th street in the city’s Borchert Field neighborhood is celebrating 100 years in 2018 and the congregation has a history as rich as it is lengthy.
It was a hub for the civil rights movement during the 1960's and has become a hub for local politics on the city’s north side.
