Heavy rain returns to the forecast. A new Flash Flood Watch has been issued for parts of the area.

A nice break from the rain today as folks continue to clean up from storm damage. Thankfully the Milwaukee River at Cedarburg is going down.  We expect the river to drop below flood stage by Friday.

Unfortunately the weather pattern becomes active one again as we head into the weekend, and that will mean more rain and storms.

A new Flash Flood watch has been issued for Sheboygan, Washington, Ozaukee, Dodge, and Fond du Lac counties Friday night through Saturday.

We expect scattered showers and storms to redevelop late Friday night into Saturday morning.  Many areas could pick up another inch of rain, and that could create more issues in flooded areas.

Most of next week will feature more chances for showers and storms.  That could mean most of the area picking up another 2" to 5" through next Friday.
