(GREENDALE) There’s something special popping in Greendale. The Popcorn Shoppe on Parking Street is a new retailer offering bags of freshly popped kettle corn in a variety of flavors. It may seem like just another local business but there’s a key difference. The store donates 100% of their profits to a new Wisconsin charity project called Give Back Wisconsin.
Give Back Wisconsin was established this year as an umbrella organization fundraising for a number of community service projects, including one that helped a 14 year old Milwaukee girl suffering from juvenile Huntington’s disease have the time of her life at a recent Brewers game.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Tori Bokios explored the purpose of Give Back Wisconsin.
