Governor Walker orders flags at half-staff to honor MPD Officer Charles Irvine Jr.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Governor Scott Walker has ordered flags to half-staff to honor Milwaukee Police Officer Charles Irvine Jr. Officer Irvine was killed in a rollover crash while pursuing a reckless driver in Milwaukee Thursday afternoon near 76th and Silver Spring.
In Walker's order he issued a statement saying he is sending prayer to the family and friends of Irvine and to the entire Milwaukee Police Department. Walker added that this is, "a painful reminder of the dangers faced and sacrifices made by our first responders every single day."
The flag was already seen at half-staff in front of Milwaukee Police headquarters Friday morning.
