Governor Walker Makes Packers Wage with Maryland, Virginia Governors

Governor Scott Walker made friendly wagers on Friday night with Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe in support of his beloved Green Bay Packers as they take on the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

“Wisconsin bleeds green and gold, and our whole state is cheering on the Packers as they head to the playoffs this weekend,” said Governor Walker. “On behalf of Packer Nation, Go Pack Go!”

Governor Walker bet an assortment of Wisconsin cheese, sausage, Andes mints (from Governor Walker’s hometown of Delavan), and Leinenkugel’s beer that the Packers will head to the NFC Divisional Round.

Governor Hogan put up Maryland blue crabs.

Governor McAuliffe wagered wine and ham from Virginia.

The Packers face the Redskins on Sunday at 3:40 PM.
