RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The campaign trail brought Governor Scott Walker to the Foxconn construction project in Mount Pleasant on Friday.
A reporter asked if he was concerned about what would happen to Foxconn if he loses his re-election bid to Tony Evers in November.
"Well this is a commitment between the state and Foxconn. It's gonna be rock solid no matter what happens in the future. But my plan is to be around because I want to be here for the ribbon cutting when we celebrate one of the largest economic development projects in the history of the world."
Democratic nominee Tony Evers has criticized the state's multi billion dollar incentive package given to Foxconn but he has not said that he would try and stop the deal.
