Go blue for murdered police officer

WAUWATOSA-Friends, family and admirers alike are asking the public to shine blue lights on their front door step to mark the loss and contributions of Wauwatosa Police Officer Jen Sebena.

As announced on the Remembering Jen Sebena facebook page:

\"Christmas Eve marks the first year anniversary of losing Officer Sebena. I'd like for you to put a BLUE LIGHT onto your porch or somewhere in your front yard for the entire month of December! Show our men and women in law enforcement in our own way that we remember. Let us never forget! \"

Organizers are also asking residents throughout the state, and maybe even the country, to decorate their homes in blue for Christmas.

Officer Sebena's husband, Ben Sebena, is behind bars convicted of fatally shooting her. His family says he struggled from post traumatic stress related to his time in combat in Iraq.
