Getting people to the polls

After a heated debate, Governor Scott Walker and Mary Burke are still close in the polls.

With such a close call, citizens are taking matters into their own hands.

For Michael Bink, passion, politics, and persistence go together.

Bink says, \"We gather like minded volunteers, this afternoon there were over 100 volunteers.\"

Bink is with the AFL-CIO Union but says each side is hitting as many doors as possible trying to reach voters.

Bink says, \"The more people that get to the polls, the better chance each side has. So each side is going out and putting in a great effort at this point.\"

Bink believes getting people to the poles is his civic duty.

\"The vast majority of doors we knock on people thank us for doing what we do.\"

Early voting begins Monday and runs through the 31st.
