Germantown School District partners with Trane for building upgrades, modernization

GERMANTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Germantown School District is cutting costs through building updates and modernization, according to heating, ventilating and air condition systems company Trane.

According to the company, the district partnered with Trane for the project. It includes new lighting, windows and upgraded heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Trane says the project is expected to reduce the district’s energy use by 20 percent over the next three years. The company says it has also saved the district more than $130,000.
