WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Chances are you've noticed a dip in gas prices this holiday season, so we set out to see just how low some are.
The cheapest our CBS 58 crew saw while driving around was $1.89. According to Gasbuddy.com, the average for unleaded gas in Milwaukee County is $1.97. There are some stations in Milwaukee selling gas as high as $2.29 a gallon for regular.
Drivers we spoke to says the lower proves really help them during the holiday season, "It's great. I only have to put in like 10 gallons every two weeks so saves a lot of money," said Linda Ferguson.
According to gasbuddy.com, the national average gas price hasn't dipped this low since June of 2017.
