Four Wounded in Separate Shootings Wednesday

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a number of non-fatal shootings that occurred Wednesday night.

Two individuals were taken by friends to a local hospital with gunshot wounds suffered around 5:45 PM in the area of N 53rd Street and W Maxell Place.  The 20-year-old and 22-year-old males both received non-life threatening injuries.  The circumstances surrounding the shooting  are being investigated and the Police are searching for a suspect.

Around 9:55 PM, an argument that escalated to a physical confrontation resulted in a 31-year-old male being shot.   The Milwaukee Fire Department transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of his wound.  The Milwaukee Police are investigating the shooting that occurred near N 13 and W Locust Streets.

A 26-year-old man was taken by friends to a hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear.  The shooting happened around 11:30 PM in the area of N 29th and W Burleigh Streets.  The Milwaukee Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
