Four Wisconsin hospitals ready for any possible Ebola cases

 There are no cases of Ebola in Wisconsin, but if a case does pop up--- the patient  would go to four possible hospitals.  Froedtert or Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee or UW Hospital or American Family Children's Hospital in Madison.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has announced  those two hospitals have now been designated to handle any ebola cases that might pop up in the state.  It's possible other hospitals may be added in the future.

Children's Hospital has a comprehensive plan in place already. The plan includes screening, training, treatment, isolation and protection.  The state strategy involves identifying if someone has Ebola and then transferring the person to one of the four facilities. State leaders say all health systems are prepared to identify, isolate, and provide initial care.  But after that the person would be transferred to one of the four others.  There are no cases of Ebola in Wisconsin.
