Fond du Lac man found dead after argument leads to SWAT deployment

On Friday, June 16 at 8:35 PM officers from the Fond du Lac Police Department were called to a house in the 300 block of Ellis Street after calls of a verbal argument between a man and woman that ended with the man locking himself in a bedroom. 

The woman thought she heard what sounded like a gunshot coming from the room which prompted her to call the police. 

By the time SWAT officers arrived at the house and gained entry into the room the 43-year-old Fond du Lac man was found dead.
