Milwaukee penguins get a new habitat
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you love volleyball but are looking for something faster paced, you might want to try Fistball. The game is catching on fast across southeast Wisconsin. In fact, Milwaukee started its own association last year. Each team consists of five members trying to play the ball across the net from one half of the field of play to the opponents' half – using only their arm or closed fist unlike in volleyball where open hands are allowed. After clearing the net, the ball may be contacted up to three times by the five players on each team – with a bounce permitted before each contact.
Saturday night, the Fistball National Championship games will take place at Arrowhead High School in Hartland. It runs from 5 to 10 pm. So go check it out if you want to learn a new sport. And in case you were wondering, it can't be played on sand, but there's a grassy area at Bradford Beach people play the game.
