Fire causes $110,000 in damage at Racine home

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) – A fire caused around $110,000 in damage to a Racine home, according to the fire department.

Authorities say they were called to the home near Ruby Ave. and South St. around 2 a.m. Thursday morning.

Fire officials say there was one person home at the time and he was able to get out safely. The fire was limited to the laundry room and kitchen.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
