Ex-employee Robs Taco Bell in WI, Arrested at Nearby Motel

ASHWAUBENON (WFRV) -- A 19-year-old man is facing several charges after police say he robbed a Taco Bell in Ashwaubenon.

Witnesses told Ashwaubenon Public Safety Officers that Avery King, an ex-employee, entered the restaurant on Babcock Road late Sunday night, accessed the safe, and fled the scene.

Officers arrested King around 3 a.m. Monday at the Motel 6 on Ramada Way in Ashwaubenon.  The Brown County Sheriff's Office and the De Pere and Oneida Police Departments helped take King into custody.

King is in the Brown County Jail and could face the following charges: burglary, obstructing, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft.
