LONDON (AP) -- Singer Charlotte Church has received 600,000 pounds in a phone hacking settlement from News International.

The 26-year-old singer was present at a London court for the reading of a statement resolving her claim that 33 articles in the now defunct News of the World newspaper were the product of hacking into her family's voice mails.

Church has testified about extensive media intrusion into her private life.
