Michael Jackson death lawsuit going to trialCNN -- A judge has tentatively ruled a lawsuit accusing a concert promoter of contributing to Michael Jackson's death can go to trial. The wrongful death lawsuit was filed by Jackson's three children and his mother, against his concert promoter A-E-G Live. The judge has ordered Doctor Conrad Murray to meet with Jackson lawyers next month for a deposition. Lawyers for Jackson's children contends Murray was hired and supervised by A-E-G Live executives, and that they were negligent in hiring Murray. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's 2009 death. The wrongful death trial is set for April. |
