Enjoy What We Have while We Have It

No, it's not mid-September.  It's the start of November when highs are supposed to be in the lower 50s and lows in the upper 30s.  Nothing really normal about highs around 70 or even the low 70s.

But it's not lasting.  Today is the only day we get the very warm temperatures before we drop back into the 50s and 60s.  But for what it's worth, that's still above the norm.  (And in case you were wondering, a normal high temperature by the end of November will only be 39!)

Our best shot of rain comes on Wednesday, especially late in the morning and afternoon, as low pressure rides a front just to the south of us.  We could even encounter some thunder.  Rainfall amounts will be between a half inch and an inch.  People north of I-94 will see lesser amounts. But nonetheless, keep the umbrellas handy.

Couple of other things.  Make sure to download the free CBS58 weather app to send us your Halloween or fall foliage pictures.  Also, keep in mind, we go back to standard time early Sunday.  So this means you get an extra hour of sleep, but it'll get darker late in the afternoon.  And while you're changing your clocks, make sure to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
