Elm Grove Road Bridge set to reopen later today

As part of the Zoo Interchange Project, the Elm Grove Road Bridge over the I-94 corridor in Brookfield closed long-term.  Over the course of the six month closure the old bridge was demolished and a new one built in its place.  The bridge is expected to reopen later today.

In addition to the bridge being replaced, the city of Brookfield also took the opportunity to resurface a stretch of Elm Grove Road between Greenfield Avenue and  Bluemound Road.

The DOT also has plans to replace the Sunnyslope Rd. bridge over I-94 at a later date.
