Elementary School Students Receive Books in Hopes to Spark Their Own Libraries

More than 3400 Milwaukee Public School students received free books on Wednesday in hopes of starting their own personal libraries.

These kids at Kluge Elementary picked out ten books each.

A number of MPS school students will attend book fairs to re-ignite this passion for the page.

The United Way makes this all possible and Milwaukee is one of six communities selected to be part of the program.
