Effort to recall Racine County District Attorney falls short

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An effort to recall the Racine County District Attorney fell short Wednesday, Nov. 20.

The petition was started after a Mount Pleasant officer was not charged for shooting a teenager to death.

Petitioners say Tricia Hanson has failed her job responsibilities as DA.

Hanson will face reelection in April, and petitioners say they'll work to oust her then.

Hanson offered no comment on the recall effort.
