Details released for 45th anniversary of Mexican Fiesta

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 45th Anniversary of Mexican Fiesta, one of the largest Mexican Hispanic festivals in the Midwest starts August 24. The three days of fun, food, Mariachi, and Fiesta last until August 26 at the Henry W. Maier Festival Park. Fiesta will be held from noon to midnight all three days.

The festival allows everyone to share the beauty of Latin Countries' history, art, music, and food. The attractive Cultural Pavilion will display an extraordinary show and exhibition of the Mexican arts & crafts from more than 150 artisans coming directly from different states of México. You can enjoy the traditional freshly baked bread "Pan de Feria," by master bakers directly from México.

Mexican Fiesta has the honor to count with the presence of Our Lady of Guadalupe once again. The sanctuary honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe will be open for the three days of the festival from noon to midnight. On Sunday there will be a procession at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at the Amphitheater.

Advance tickets for Mexican Fiesta cost $14 per adult and kids 8-years-old and under get in free with an adult. Tickets at the gate will cost $17. Online tickets are available here or you can buy them at the Mexican Fiesta office or El Rey Grocery Stores.
