Delta announces new nonstop flight to Salt Lake City from Milwaukee

Delta Air Lines will launch new daily nonstop service between Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Salt Lake City International Airport later this year.

“Not only is Salt Lake City a great place to visit, it also serves as a perfect connection point for accessing large and small markets in the western U.S.,” County Executive Chris Abele said. “With today’s announcement from Delta, I’m pleased to report that 10 new nonstop destinations from Milwaukee have been announced in just the last year. This is a testament to the remarkable work being done by the team at MKE.”

Delta’s new daily nonstop flights begin December 21 and will operate year-round on WiFi-equipped Embraer E-175 jets, featuring 12 seats in first class, 12 seats in Delta Comfort+, and 52 seats in Economy. The daily flight departs Milwaukee at 7:15 AM and arrives in Salt Lake City at 10:15 AM, according to Delta’s initial schedule. The return flight departs Salt Lake City at 5:15 PM and arrives in Milwaukee at 9:28 PM.

Earlier this year, Delta launched new nonstop service from Milwaukee to Seattle and increased its Boston service to twice daily. Delta also offers nonstop service from Milwaukee to Atlanta, Cancun, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York-LaGuardia and Orlando.
