Circumstances of non-fatal shooting are being investigated

Milwaukee Police are investigating the shooting of a 49-year-old Milwaukee man this morning.   The circumstances surrounding the shooting are uncertain at this time and the Police are attempting to determine how and where the shooting happened.   Around 4:35 AM man was taken to a local hospital for the treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.   When the incident was reported, the man was located at a home at N Achilles Street and E Auer Avenue but Police say that is not where the shooting occurred.
