Children's Hospital Opens Medical and Dental Clinic on Milwaukee's North Side

Children's Hospital of Wisconsin opened its new Midtown Clinic on the city's North Side.

People have been stopping by since 2:00 PM on Monday to not only take a tour of the new facility but also learn more about the various programs and services offered here.

The clinic's management tells me they looked at several factors when they decided to open a new clinic. One of the factors was how far families were traveling for appointments. They said this location was ideal to help serve their large population who live out in the 53216 zip code.  

“We're at a time like today when there's some unrest in the city, we're here and we're going to stay here,” said a representative for the clinic.

The clinic houses a number of services aside from primary care like dental.

It also has a behavioral health department, social workers, and clinical navigators to help with resources like housing and food pantries.
