Children Help Decorate Cathedral Square Park

Santa's elves hundreds of children were busy today transforming Cathedral Square Park in downtown Milwaukee into a 'Community Spirit Park' for the holidays. 

Kids from nearly 70 schools from across the area are in the park decorating the trees.

They're using handmade ornaments that represent a class theme or wish.  The decorating will continue through Wednesday.

Before the kick off night we'll have 2 thousand about 119 children that will have will be coming through the parks decorating having cocoa, cookies enjoying the festivities.

The trees will be done just in time for the kickoff of the Milwaukee "Holiday Lights Festival" Thursday in Pere Marquette Park
