Car Hits Pedestrian in Mequon Causing Serious Injuries

On Tuesday November 29 at 5:49 PM, Mequon Police and Fire Departments responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the 12800 block of N. Port Washington Road just north of Highland Road.
A pedestrian was struck by car driving south. The driver stopped and called police for assistance, and is cooperating with the investigation.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transferred by Flight For Life to Froedtert Hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
